My topic will be on the different infancy perceptions that some authors speak about. The traditional studies about infancy have had a significant importance until recently, because, they are based on the idea that childhood is a stage of biopsychosocial development, where children do not have an active role in the society, rather they are in a previous stage in which are preparing them to be adults.   Emile Durkheim, considers children as a nature’s state, far from what we'd consider as ‘’civilized’’. Also, is Talcott Parsons, who gives a lot of importance to the family and its role in child socialization. Early nineties, a new vision began to generate a critic analysis on how childhood had been understood in traditional studies. This give origin to a contemporary sociological theory which consider that “Childhood as a social fact, and represents a first attempt in the consideration of the family like an object of autonomous sociological interest’’ (Pávez, 2012 ). Hello! Today I am going to tell you about my childhood’s dream and about the choice of my current career. When i was child I had a lot of dreams about my ideal profession, first I wanted to be a detective, then I wanted to be a tennis player. Later when I was in middle school I wanted to be an engineer in risk prevention, but finally I decided to study Social Work because I have ever felt close to people, and I’m able to empathize and understand all the different peoples realities . My experience at the university has been good and also bad, because at the beginning it was very stressful, but with enough time it has come more calmly, so is just a problem of good organization. When I graduate from the University I would like to work at the SENAME, because I have ever been interested in the childhood’s Institutionalized and vulnerated.

My name is Camila Carvacho, I´m 21 years and live in Santiago of Chile, I was born on June 4, 1997. I live with my parents, my brother and my dog "Tara". I have two siblings, four nephews and two grandniece. I’m currently living in the commune of Recoleta. I graduated from the middle room in 2015, then I did one year of preuniversitario and 2017 th entered to study Social Work at Universidad de Chile. I´m currently in the third year of university and I’m an assistant to a subject, which is a great personal challenge. In my free time I realy like watching movies and series, taking a nap and go party with my friend’s. Also I like being with my pet, go for a walk and get some fresh air.    Thanks for reading, bye!
